The design is clean and simple, the materials are solid wood and very sturdy, and the drawers glide smoothly on metal rails. There are no plastic, cardboard, or fiberboard parts.The desk does require some assembly, which I don't recall being mentioned in the product's description, but that's simply a matter of attaching the legs and stretch bars using bolts and screws, all of which are supplied. The entire job required about 30 minutes from start to finish. I have some advice regarding the instructions for attaching the legs. First, if your legs are labeled the same as the ones I received, and if your printed instructions are the same as what was included in my box, then the illustration incorrectly displays the position of legs B and C--they should be reversed. We love it! I love it because it has a huge desk top which is needed when doing homework or projects & it is extremely sturdy & well made. I feel it was a good purchase for the price. Ours was missing one of the bottom pegs that is between the floor & the wood leg. I contacted the seller through Amazon by email & was directed to the manufacturer as that is the manufactors policy by way of an 800 number. It was simple, it took about 5 minuets if that on the phone & they shipped the piece. The seller gave me their order number which was super quick when I called to find & I am satisfied by the outcome. Love the desk. |
